I honed my skills in investigating, researching, and writing scripts on local/national and international news. I led the development of our TikTok account and created daily content for Instagram, Twitter and LinkedIn which has driven me into the Canadian journalism role and has taught me interpersonal skills, attention to detail and how to adapt easily. During my work, I produced the weekly “News You Can Use” script which I hosted with Brandon Gonez and developed our “Explainer” episode series.
With a focus on social media, my responsibilities included creating, editing, posting and scheduling news stories from episodes to social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and Linkedin) as well as curating TikToks with Brandon Gonez. As a producer, I generated content ideas, scheduled shoots, chased and pre-interviewed sources and guests as well as various other pre-production activities.
